​Inspired by the folded structure of insect wings that have evolved over many thousands of generations through natural selection. Combining paper folding technique, created with fully creased self-foldability structure into easily draped-it-over forms. Produced with just a single piece of material, open up to use as a rain poncho; fold like an umbrella; hang dry like a mino (japan traditional raincoat). Not just an upgrade on the older rain gear, this project also aimed at overcoming the stereotype to discover the new possibilities of rain gears.
