A cutting board for "Husks Kitchen Series", inspired by the natural law of a tree. A home collection launched by HusksWare. Made out of rice husks fibre, one of the major agriculture wastes in Asia. A unique and natural property of rice husks, the player inherited the original colour, toughness from the rice husks fibre. After the days of use, returned to our Mother Nature by biodegraded into fertilizers and evoking the law of nature.
Gradually increasing the pressure from the top while in the manufacturing process. The platter can be used in multi ways, as a platter to serve on the dining table yet thinner than a traditional platter; as a cutting board yet tougher than a wooden cutting board. The appearance comes with the texture of the wood ring with an inclined surface, aimed to keep the juices on plate.
もみがらは米の殻，アジアに一番多い農業廃棄物である。その処理方法はだいたい燃やして，土に埋め自然に分解され肥料になる。しかし,この方法は時間がかかる，空気汚染の元になりかねない。２００４年創業したハスク・ウェアは農業廃棄物 のもみがらを再利用し，原料として食器を開発する企業である。自然の法則から着想を得た， この円はもみがら本来の色、堅さとその独特抗菌作用を保存し作され。一切の化学物質を使用しない。天然の粘着剤を混合し，高圧高温で圧縮して完成する。
鋳型は上から下もみがらに押す，その圧力は徐々に増加し，円形を作った。その柔らかい光沢と傷を防ぐ密度を得る。この円は大皿やまな板など複数の使い方がある。伝統的な大皿より薄く，密度も木製まな板より堅い。年輪を付け外観で傾斜面があり，食材や食べ物のジュースを溝に保つことを目的としている。使え続けて数年後，叩いて小片にすれば、土に埋めで自然分解できる。最後は肥料になり，大自然の法則のループに戻ることになる。
