The consequences of pursuing a materialistic lifestyle have found that materialism is negatively related to life satisfaction. [TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD 2021] located in Roppongi, Tokyo, aims to examine and redefine the aspects of the quality of life through 1,122 works by designers in Japan with the theme of "The Next Well Being", which is strongly related with Japan Values.
Different from the traditional aquarium made of glass or plastic which limits the communication between human and goldfish. With "Softness" as the only keyword. This thin, clear fishbowl looks as if it's dancing with the waves the goldfish creates. An enriched life should also mean having a good heart and relationship in the way of emotion. Thus this flexible bowl was designed so that people may not only enjoy watching the goldfish wiggle around in the water, but also feel the movement of the fish and water inside by touching it, and convey your emotion between people and goldfish, redefine the quality of relationship.
パンデミックにより激変した世界で、私たちの生き方も大きく変わった。東京ミッドタウンの「これからのウェルビーイング(THE NEXT WELLBEING)」をコンセプトに、物質、物自分自身ではなく、物に結び付けている感情であり、より交流でき、柔軟的な関係こそ豊かな未来の生活だと考えながら作った金魚鉢。
金魚にとっては単なる餌をあげる人だけではなく、信頼している人でもある。そして、金魚を伴侶動物みたいに大切している人も大勢います。そのような家族関係は無形な壁で遮断されるのは惜しいと思う。そのため、透明なシリコンで成型した柔軟化された鉢は水の温度、金魚の動きの波を感じて、自分の気持ちも金魚に伝えられることを目指して設計した。金魚が泳ぐことにより水の波で揺らめく様な、薄く成形した透明な金魚鉢。豊かな生活は、良い心や良好的な関係も指すことだと考えた。大切にするという気持ちで、人と金魚の新しい関係が生まれれば嬉しいと思いつつ、デザインした。
